Why do people tell their life stories?
There are typically two responses to a tough situation: internalize everything that happened to you, or share your stories knowing that the benefits will far outweigh any hesitations you might feel
Telling your life story allows you to heal from tough situations. You open your heart and mind to exploring your past and mining it for wisdom you've already earned.
You're now able to learn and grow, discovering how to overcome the circumstances and gaining deeper insights in into the situation.
Once you've been able to develop and understand your story, you're able to tell your story to others who might be just about to go through something similar, encouraging them to persevere through their own challenges.
